Thwarting Christ with Islam, deluding men!
Christ's Second Coming will burst his bubble;
With only His voice, He'll end this trouble!
Chapter 12 of the Book of Revelation is an allegory depicting symbolically the entire master plot of how the struggle between good (God) and evil (Satan) began.
"A great and wondrous sign appeared in heaven: A woman [the virgin Mary] clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head [Catholic doctrine holds that Mary was 'assumed' to heaven alive, made Queen of Heaven by God, wears a crown with 12 stars; 'clothed wirh the sun' means 'sinless perfection or light of God; 'moon under her feet' means the devil or evil subdued]. She was pregnant [with Jesus, the Son of God] and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth. Then another sign appeared in heaven: An enormous red dragon [Lucifer, later Satan] with seven heads [roles he assumed in the Bible---serpent, Gabriel whispering the Qur'an into the ear of Mohammed, tempter of Jesus, the False Prophet in the Tribulation, etc.] and ten horns [Islamic kings during the Tribulation] and seven crowns on his heads [fakes]. His tail swept a third of the stars of the sky [the third of all the angels who followed Lucifer into evil]. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that he might devour her child the moment it was born. She gave birth to a son [Jesus], a male child who will rule all the nations with an iron scepter. And her child was snatched up [by the Holy Spirit] to God and to his throne." It is necessary to read the rest of Rev. 12 to learn of the war in heaven; the defeat and expulsion of the traitors; their being cast to the earth; their mission of leading the people away from God; how a bitter Satan always stands by the side of a Christian being judged as prosecutor.

He rules from Jerusalem and attempts to make Islam the "true" Christianity; by force persuades many weak Christians to convert away from Christ, beheading the loyal firm followers who refuse. Islam, since its invention by Satan in the 7th century A.D., has already killed millions of Christians, and, in the last months of Satan's freedom, kill millions more (See Rev. 7). Only a few tattered fugitives will manage to survive and greet Jesus when He returns. The False Prophet is in reality Satan masquerading.

Mystery Babylon The Great
Spent are God's Woes, but the earth is not free;
The House of Islam rules by fear and sword;
Each Christian to Allah must bow the knee,
Or pay with his head for faith in the Lord!

So the few saints who elude cannot eat;
They can't buy or sell, because they have none;

When God's three great disasters against the wickedness of the world are finished, the Tribulation has a few more months to continue. It is a crippled and depopulated world; remaining alive are an estimated one billion people, with only a small number of Christians. No strong nations are functioning, and Islam, which is called Mystery Babylon the Great has what John calls "one hour" left in its rule (See Revelation 17:12). Christ's Second Coming in power and glory will end their rule, which features a cruel war against the Lamb, the beheading of any Christian that refuses to worship Allah or take the Beast's mark on his head or hand. The Beast from the Sea of Revelation 13, called the Antichrist in popular theology, has been given power to rule by Islam; of course, both are operating by the power of Satan, who concocted the counterfeit religion of Islam for this very purpose.
"The ten horns you [John] saw are the ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but who for one hour will receive authority as kings along with the beast. They have one purpose and will give their power and authority to the beast. Their holy city is Mecca, Saudi Arabia; it will be destroyed by a nuclear missile or supernatural disaster. It is the "city of seven hills" whose destruction is eulogized in Chapter 18.

Chapter 7 describes the great multitude of martyred souls during this time surrounding the throne in heaven. They will return with Christ and be present as the evil forces are destroyed.

Sin Dare Not Dare
What harm can Satan do to heaven's child,
That the two-edged sword of truth not belay*?
Can the Father of Lies spin tales so wild,
That the word of God cannot swiftly stay?
Who fears the lure of sin's falsely-decked turn,
If first it clears scripture's holy adjure**?
No chaff*** survives the fire of cleansing stern,
Imposed by Writ, to which the saved inure!
All sin's guile, no matter its form or face,
How wrongly protrayed, or hidden clever,
God's word expose, His sword of truth disgrace!
How foolish the saved, to face evil bare
God's precious word, the sword sin dare not dare!

"For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joint and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart." (Hebrews 4:12)
The word of God is the Bible. His Son Jesus is sometimes called the Word (John 1:1), which is a bit confusing. God revealed Himself to man in two ways: In the Bible, His written word, which He caused to be written by more than 40 people over 1500 years, and inspired by the Holy Spirit. This is called His "special" revelation. He also revealed Himself in creation through the wonders of nature; this is called His "general" revelation. A person who never saw a Bible can be saved through viewing nature and coming to worship its Creator(Romans 1:18).
The Bible is completely true; it is ultimate truth. There was a time when most of the world recognized this. Webster's dictionary of 1828 even defined truth as that which agreed with the Bible. The founders of our country recognized it, even those who were not Christian. No longer is that the case. In this day of postmodernism, absolute truth is frowned upon and not accepted by most. The predominant philosophy today is, there is no dogmatic single truth about anything. Diversity is the catch word of today---there are multiple truths for any one proposition. To be a Christian, you must accept the absolute truth of the Bible; thus Christians are being looked upon as, at the least, out of touch; at the worst, they are subject to persecution. Even our national leaders are inching away from the constitution and the philosophy under which we were founded; this is accomplished mostly by court rulings.
The Bible is called a two-edged sword, because its truths demolish all lies and deceptions that the purveyors of evil can devise to deceive mankind. Postmodernism itself is a great delusion, fostered and spread by evil forces; it is refuted by the Bible. There are not enough committed believers in the nation or world to stop its momentum in society; however, an individual need not be swept along by the majority. God calls for individual people to stand firm on the truth of the Bible.

Live Up To Your Image
Guard your tongue; keep pure, whose image you are,
The place you fill; what divine role assigned!
You are God's image; sin, His image mar.
Is your model pure, as He who designed?
Whence came your tyranny and vulgar speech?
He does not steal like you, or practice lust;
Come back to your first love, and mend your ways,
Lest others His name's held in disdain!
He's the Rock of Ages, and Lord of Days,
And willing all men from death to redeem!
Hold your tongue; consider who you portray,
That men see you righteous, and learn His way!
Most people do not realize or appreciate the significance of the honor paid each individual by God when He created each in His own image. Of all living things---animals, fish, birds, mammals, plants, trees, insects, millions of different species---just one, man, was made like God. That fact is significant. If nature developed and evolved by the laws of chance, the odds of that happening would be astronomically high against it. In fact He created us in the same form that His Son Jesus would take at His birth. What an honor. Each person should recognize the honor and let it guide him in ways that would bring honor and glory to God rather than criticism and derision.
The human race in general ignores the Creator. Most seem to believe there is no Creator, that all development evolved by chance as nature interacted, and Darwin's theory of survival of the fittest. I find no fault with Darwinism working in different life species so long as the result was commanded by God.
The overwhelming wickedness of the world is an insult to God, inserted by Satan, who has contested God for authority since before the world was created 13.7 billion years ago; any man, believer or not ought to live in a way that does not discredit God. Adolf Hitler was a creation of God; his unspeakable cruelties inspires people to look at God, even if they dont't believe He exists, and say, "Look what God did!", with a sneer. A man ought to live in such a way as to leave a reputation that the world is a better place because of his life in it. Even a disbeliever should do that.

The Third Woe: The Scorching Sun
What Woe next, O Lord, will you wreak on earth?
With two-thirds dead, and under Muslim rule,
There is little left that has any worth,
Save Israel, remnant of your own tool!
Brace yourself, O world---seven times hotter!
Your friendly sun, so gentle through the years,
Gone nova*, drawn up all the drinking water;
Men dying, cursing the Lord, as death nears!
All would have died, but God reduced the days,
Because of the believers that were there;
Few could find shelter from the scorching rays
Until darkness came for the clouds in the air!
Fahrenheit constant one hundred degrees,
Night and day, over the land and the seas!
*nova = small-scale helium sun flare
At last the Wrath of God at the wickedness of the people in the world will be spent. The Third Great Woe, the sun going nova, brought the tattered and battered depopulated earth to its knees physically, but not spiritually. Many more died. In a short time of blazing sunlight the ice-caps melted, and the sun drew up all the fresh water, to form a cloud cover around the world so dense that darkness covered the earth. Drinking water became scarce. Had God not reduced the number of days, everyone would have died. The sun cooled, and the water fell in a massive rain and thunderstorm that flooded cities; 100-lb. pellets of hail fell over all the earth.
Our sun is a star. All stars are born, exist and die in a sequence of events that include novas and supernovas. Had God flung a supernova on the sun, it would have destroyed the earth. Novas are caused when helium accumulates in the star until it ignites, causing the 'sun spots" that are fairly common. They cause havoc among electronic applications. In 1859 there was a large sun spot in which people could read the newspaper at night by the light of the Aurora Borealis in Minneapolis.
Had this Woe been the first one, imagine the devastating effect it would have had on the earth's highly-developed nations with advanced technological cultures. There would have been no computers, no electricity, no radion transmission. As it will be with the asteroid collision, the developed nations will be much more damaged; not so with Islamic nations. When the Mongols defeated them in 1259 A.D., they took it as a sign from Allah that he disapproved of their cultural and technological advances, which at the time were magnificent, and deliberately adopted primitive and agrarian culture, somewhat like the Amish people. Hence, they escaped the Woes as the strongest culture in the world; in fact, they ruled the whole earth under the Antichrist.

A Baptist church I know of in another city once proposed a revision to their constitution that Christians below the age of 18 not be eligible to vote on decisions of the church, because they were "too young" to understand serious matters. The proposal failed, as it should have. I need to explain that each Baptist church is independent, free of supervision by any central authority. Their almost-universal policy is that any church member of whatever age is entitled to vote on any local church issue.
The Bible teaches that when an individual professes a commitment to follow Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit of God comes to him and indwells for the rest of his life. (See Romans Chapter 8) He is then invited to join a Baptist church by being baptized. Thus he becomes a member of the church with full privileges and responsibilities of membership. The Bible teaches that the Holy Spirit functions as a guide or couselor that leads the new believer to change his inherited sin nature to one of spiritual nature, such as Jesus teaches us in Matthew 5-7, the Sermon on the Mount; or that which Peter teaches in 2 Peter 1. Any member of a local church therefore is capable of voting maturely, at least theoretically. In practice, I'm afraid some members fail to utilize the gift of the Spirit, and some who committed did not change their sinful nature. Many church members may not be considered saved by God who looks inside the heart.
In the poem, David was a young shephrd boy who "naively" trusted God and volunteered to fight Goliath, the giant from Gath that came out every day and taunted the Jews to send a champion to fight him. No one, not even Saul, who was 7 feet tall, was brave enough to volunteer. David did, and he killed Goliath with his slingshot. Jesus, at age 12, went to the temple in Jerusalem with His parents. He was missing for two days after they started to go home. They found him talking on an equal footing with the priests of the temple. Being young is no handicap, if the person has God in his heart.

Paul taught his young protege Timothy to follow him in the ministry and cautioned him that his youth was not to be a handicap.

I Will Accept Jesus
No creature can escape unmoved His touch,
Nor enter His presence and escape unchanged;
His staff is in His hand and effects much,
The reconciled, as well as the estranged!
The Hebrews went free to Egypt's dismay,
And Canaan resisted, without avail;
To some, comfort; to others, reckoning day,
But upon all, His cleansing does prevail!
God freely gives; as freely, takes away;
Yet, in either case, praise to His holy name!
For good comes, even of the darkest day,
When you, in all things, praise, instead of blame!
Seek the favor of God, rather than flee;
His chastisement, and blessing, both good for thee!
Nearly every Christian has periods when he doubts his salvation; this can be a terrible burden for some; yet in most cases it is needless. There are many assurances given in the Bible that, carefully read and trusted, will remove such doubts. Here are two passages that, studied carefully, will remove them.
Romans Chapter 8---The Indwelling Holy Spirit. If you have the Holy Spirit indwelling you, it is a sure sign that you are saved. Romans 8:16---"The Spirit himself testifies unto our spirit that we are the Lord's chidren." Many people accept Christ, walk down the aisle in a public commitment, and are baptized; afterwards, they do little or nothing about changing their lifestyle to one that is outlined by Jesus in Matthew 5-7. Neither do they set up a daily time of Bible study and prayer, nor call upon the Holy Spirit who entered their bodies at conversion. As a result, when asked years later if the Holy Spirit indwells them, they shake their heads vaguely, having no overt knowledge of the Spirit. What has happened is that by not calling upon Him daily, the Holy Spirit has remained dormant; the person has not changed his sin nature to the new Christ-like nature. He may be saved by his first belief, but he may not be. If a new Christian asks the Spirit to help him in making decisions, in understanding the Bible, in changing the direction of his life--the Holy Spirit will be an intimate, obvious friend for the rest of his life. He will have no doubt about his salvation
2 Peter Chapter 1 tells us clearly what we must do to receive a "rich welcome" into heaven. Having faith in Jesus as Lord can save us, but if faith is all we have, we may fall. We need to add to faith: Goodness; Bible Knowledge; Self Control; Perseverance; Godliness; Brotherly Kindness; and Love.
"Therefore, my brothers, be all the more eager to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things you will never fall, and you will receive a rich welcome into the kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ."
(2 Peter 1:10-11)

God's Two Witnesses
For three and one-half days their bodies lay,
Unburied, in Zion's streets, mocked and jeered
By Muslims, exchanging gifts, in their way,
While the killer---that False Prophet---was cheered!
God's two witnesses had preached Christ in spite
Of fierce resistance from the ruling pair;
Their mission a success---Jews had seen the light
And would join Jesus, their Lord, in the air!
The two were God-breathed, and they stood erect;
"Come up here!" a loud voice from heaven said;
They rose; an earthquake then did Zion wreck,
Leaving Muslims terrified and in dread!
During the Great Tribulation while Satan's henchmen---the Antichrist and the False Prophet--- rules the world, God will send two "witnesses" (preachers of the gospel) to Jerusalem. Their mission is to evangelize the Jewish citizens of Israel (78% of the population), God having finally lifted the 2700-year-old judgment of spiritual dullness under which they had suffered for so long. Of course, repentance for the wicked dwellers of earth, Islam, will also be offered, but the Bible says they will remain stone-hearted. At this very late hour in the history of the world, the remnant of God's Chosen People will accept Jesus as the Messiah God sent to them, and they will mourn the wounds they had inflicted upon Him. At this time, all religions except Islam will be outlawed, especially Christianity, and many Jews will be martyred by refusing to woship the Antichrist or to take the mark of the False Prophet.
Many believe that the two witnesses will be Moses and Elijah. After many failed attempts to kill them, the False Prophet will succeed. They will be refused burial, which is a deadly insult in the Middle East.
"Now when they [the two witnesses] have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the Abyss [the False Prophet] will attack them and overpower and kill them. Their bodies will lie in the street of the great city, ... where their Lord was crucified. For three and a half days men from every people, tribe, language and nation will gaze on their bodies and refuse them burial. The inhabitants of the earth will gloat over them and will celebrate by sending each other gifts because these two prophets had tormented those who live upon the earth." (Revelation 11:7-10) [Brackets added]
When Al Qaeda terrorists hijacked jetliners filled with passengers and crashed them into New York's Twin Towers 9/11/2001, Islamic people all over the earth sent gifts to each other in celebration of the killing of 3000 citizens of the United States, which is called 'The Great Satan' by their religious leaders. When John the apostle wrote these words in 95 A.D., Satan had not yet invented Islam, which happened about 610 A.D. How can anyone doubt the truth of the Bible after reading this prophecy?

Woe #2: The Robotic Army
O! My God! Dear Lord! Will Wrath never end?
Will an ocean of blood assuage men's guilt?
Yes. I know. Your law does not break or bend;
Death alone can pay the debt their sins have built!
Must a second third die so soon this Woe,
Breathing the lethal sulfur, smoke, and fire
Exhaled by the mouths of this alien foe?
Acceptance remains God's only desire;
It's not too late for the wicked to repent!
Sending killing plagues' not His preferred way;
God's mercy is greater than Woes He's sent;
They're His last resort for those who unmoved stay!
God's Wrath is aimed at Jesus' rejectors,
Attempting to make of them acceptors!
Soon after the First Woe of Tribulation, the collision of earth with a huge asteroid, God unleashes the Second Woe on earth and the people who have continued to reject His offer of grace; that is, salvation from condemnation by acceptance of Jesus Christ, His Son, as Lord, and changing their lifestyles from wickedness to righteousness. The Second Woe is a huge, mechanized army that is sent over the earth with authority to kill a third of mankind. Added to those who died in the First Woe, this will make a total killed of two-thirds of all people, approximately 4 billion persons. Christians with His protective seals on their foreheads will not be harmed. Chemical gases of sulfur, smoke and fire will be released in a poisonous mixture that kills those who inhale it. This scripture is found in Revelation 9:13-21. (In an odd coincidence, this army has been kept out of sight near the Euphrates River in---guess where---Iraq.
"The sixth angel sounded his trumpet, and I heard a voice coming from the horns of the golden altar that is before God. It said to the sixth angel that had the trumpet, 'Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.' And the four angels who had been kept ready for this very hour and day and month and year were released to kill a third of mankind. The number of the mounted troops was two hundred million. I heard their number. The horses and riders I saw in my vision looked like this: Their breastplates were fiery red, dark blue, and yellow as sulfur. The heads of the horses resembled the heads of lions, and out of their mouths came fire, smoke, and sulfur. A third of mankind were killed by the three plagues of fire, smoke, and sulfur that came out of their mouths. The power of the horses was in their mouths and in their tails; for their tails were like snakes, having heads with which they inflict injury. The rest of mankind that were not killed with these plagues still did not repent of the work of their hands; they did not stop worshiping demons and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone, and wood---idols that cannot see, or hear, or walk. Nor did they repent of their murders, their magic arts, their sexual immorality, or their thefts." (Rev. 9:13-21)

How Islam Gained World Rule
Locusts like horses emerged from the smoke
That poured from the Abyss of the earth;
They had power to sting the unsealed folk,
Inflicting scorpion pain---five months' worth!
One-third of earth's people died this First Woe,
By drowning, earthquakes, murder, and burning;
Pacific rim nations were crippled so,
By law, order quickly overturning!
The only limit to control was might;
Islam's jihadists spread o'er the land;
Osama bin Laden knew the world's plight;
Al Qaeda's armed cells moved, took command!
With the aid of locusts, Islam gained the rule!
Oft does God use enemies as His tool!

During the five months or more when locusts as large as horses are flying around the world, stinging people who are not marked with God's seal of protection against the disasters of God's Wrath (See Rev. 9:1-11), all nations will be more or less crippled without electricity, means of communication, or normal law and order. They will be dealing with tsunami floods, tectonic plate earthquakes, and millions of casualties, as well as populations maddened with pain and unable to get relief even by dying; they will attempt suicide but will invariably fail. The leaders that are strong-minded enough to even report to work will not have the time or means of defending their nation against armed terrorists who are so committed to their goal of tyranny they ignore the pain and strike when each nation is at its most defenseless. It is during this time of world-wide panic that Islam will achieve rule over the entire world.
The Beast from the Sea, first introduced in Rev. 13, is thought by many to become the Antichrist with Satan's power; he will gain rule over the whole world during the Tribulation with Islam's help. Islam is the "Mystery Babylon" of Rev. 17-19. Osama bin Laden, the Islamic terrorist behind the Twin-tower destruction in New York, Sept. 11, 2001, has the goal of uniting Islam and ruling the world. He could be the Antichrist, or he may produce a mysterious leader called the Imam Mahdi, who, in Islamic theology, is expected to appear in the world during the end-times in a direct parallel to Jesus Christ. Remember that Satan invented Islam as a counterfeit to Christianity, in an attempt to confuse people who might become followers of Christ into believing that Islam is the real Christianity. It is intended as a great delusion to take many people to hell.
Many theologians have puzzled over how any single power can achieve world rule in such a brief time. With the aid of God's Wrath on the world, the Islamic cells that are operating inside all western nations today could do it from inside during the frenzy that will be present at the time of the locusts.

The First Woe: Asteroid Collides With Earth
O earth! God did not create you for this!
The First Great Woe of His wrath is so near;
Nothing can hide you---the deepest abyss,
Nor the highest peak that mountains can rear!
The target is fixed---O beautiful isles---
Haiwaii! Better you had never been!
The great hurtling asteroid's guiding dials,
Pre-set, does its deadly journey begin!
The second trumpet is ready to blow;
All eyes are fixed upon the throne of God;
No one dares break the silence of the room;
All that's needed now is one divine nod
To unleash the havoc of this world's doom!
It is not too late! If we'd all repent!
Scripture says, though, that we will not relent!
The world will know the 7-year period called the Great Tribulation has begun when a huge asteroid or comet collides with the earth in the northeast Pacific Ocean between Hawaii and Alaska; no sign of those prophesied by Jesus is left unfulfilled; it could happen at any time now. What irony! The nation established on Godly principles by Godly forefathers; the nation that led all others in sending missionaries to an ungodly world carrying the gospel---the United States, will be the first to be destroyed by the Wrath of God in His destruction of a world that largely rejected Him. Is it any wonder? Does anyone dare question why God would choose America as Target No. 1, when we have so quickly fallen away from Him; expelled Him from our schools; made it illegal to display Manger scenes of the birth of Christ; kill almost 2 million unborn babies a year; and state by state, allow same-sex marriages to be legalized?
"The second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a huge mountain ablaze, was thrown into the sea." (Revelation 8:8)
After the seventh seal was broken in Revelation Chapter 7, seven more angels with trumpets came forth ready to sound them at the signal. With each trumpet blast an additional incentive from God is to be dropped upon the earth. Following the seven trumplet blasts there will be seven bowls, or vials, dropped on the earth. Instead of 14 separate disasters, it is probably better to interpet all the destruction as three great woes (See Revelation 8:13), accompanied by many side effects. According to the Bible, when the Tribulation begins, the date of Jesus Christ's return to earth will be approximately 7 years from the first event. The world as we know it now does not have long to exist, if this prophecy comes true. I might add that no Bible prophecy has ever been false. Hundreds have happened exactly as foretold---not one has ever failed.
The First Great Woe of His wrath is so near;

The target is fixed---O beautiful isles---
Haiwaii! Better you had never been!
The great hurtling asteroid's guiding dials,
Pre-set, does its deadly journey begin!

The world will know the 7-year period called the Great Tribulation has begun when a huge asteroid or comet collides with the earth in the northeast Pacific Ocean between Hawaii and Alaska; no sign of those prophesied by Jesus is left unfulfilled; it could happen at any time now. What irony! The nation established on Godly principles by Godly forefathers; the nation that led all others in sending missionaries to an ungodly world carrying the gospel---the United States, will be the first to be destroyed by the Wrath of God in His destruction of a world that largely rejected Him. Is it any wonder? Does anyone dare question why God would choose America as Target No. 1, when we have so quickly fallen away from Him; expelled Him from our schools; made it illegal to display Manger scenes of the birth of Christ; kill almost 2 million unborn babies a year; and state by state, allow same-sex marriages to be legalized?
"The second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a huge mountain ablaze, was thrown into the sea." (Revelation 8:8)
After the seventh seal was broken in Revelation Chapter 7, seven more angels with trumpets came forth ready to sound them at the signal. With each trumpet blast an additional incentive from God is to be dropped upon the earth. Following the seven trumplet blasts there will be seven bowls, or vials, dropped on the earth. Instead of 14 separate disasters, it is probably better to interpet all the destruction as three great woes (See Revelation 8:13), accompanied by many side effects. Christian Martyrs Of The Tribulation
A multitude in white before the throne,
Waving olive branches to praise the King;
How many there were to none could be known,
Save only by Him that knows ev'rything!
An elder said to John, "Do you know these?"
"No." answered the apostle, "but you know!"
"They are Christians beheaded to appease
The Beast; to Islam's Allah they'd not go!
Never again will they hunger or thirst;
God will shelter them forever on high;
The Lamb leads them to living waters first,
And He will wipe all the tears from each eye!
Christians of every language and land
Gave their lives for Jesus in heroic stand!
The Great Tribulation is soon to begin. Of more than 6 billion people living on earth today, only about 1.5 billion will survive the 7-year upheaval, a combination of the Wrath of God and the subsequent rule of earth by the Antichrist (Beast). He will make Christianity illegal; every person will have to submit to Allah and reject Jesus Christ, or to be beheaded. About 2 billion nominal Christians will enter the Tribulation; only an estimated 150,000 will survive to greet Jesus on His return to earth 7 years later. Those who receive God's seal of protection from the natural disasters of His wrath will have a better chance of survival. In fact, one of His reasons for the wrath is to force lukewarm Christians to become sincere and committed, or to be pressured into falling away from Christ and joining the condemned.
During the Tribulation, God will send two Witnesses to proclaim the gospel especially to the Jews of Israel, and it is possible that the 78% Jewish citizens of that nation will accept Jesus as the Messiah, something they refused to do when He first came to earth. It is possible that God will lift the judgment of spiritual dullness that He placed on the Jews in the time of Isaiah (See Isaiah 6:9-10). If so, many of them will be martyred by refusing to worship the Beast or to take his mark signifying their rejection of Christianity.
Many present-day Christians have been misled by those who believe there is to be an event called the Rapture before the beginning of the Tribulation. Suposedly Jesus is to come down in the clouds near the earth and call for the resurrection of bodies of dead Christians, as well as all living ones, to join Him and return to heaven. In this way, there will not be a single Christian left on the earth to enter the destructive time of Tribulation. A false euphoria has spread over large numbers of believers. The huge popularity of the "Left Behind" movies and books by Tim LaHaye and others has multiplied this false belief. The reader can decide for himself. First read Revelation 7:9-17. Ask yourself where did this "multitude" of Christians slain DURING the Tribulation have come from if they did not enter it?
