NOR HAND-WROUGHT MIRACLE

If in God's wondrous deeds, nature's unseen,
How small, the faith required to believe!
Let science do its best, or worst, His pow'r screen;
Or, by logic, all miracles unweave:
How glorious then, that believer sours
Who sees in nature God's hand supreme!
His faith is that for which the Lord implores:
His the house built on rock safe from the stream!
He sees the might of God in little things
And enjoys new miracles all his days;
His constancy joy to the Master brings,
His faith secure, whate'er science displays!
He heeds not, wind blew dry the Red Sea',
Nor hand-wrought miracle, his God to see!

If we are to love our enemies, as Jesus commanded, and each other, too, we need a strong faith that drives us to learn and keep all His commandments.
In Matt. 7:24-25, He used the analogy of a man building his house on sand compared to building it on rock. Obviously, the house built on rock could stand repeated storms of wind and flood, which the house on sand could no stand.
Our faith needs to be strong to stand no matter how fiercely the storms of life attack us. Science attacks the Christian's faith often with new discoveries that seem to contradict the Bible. Sometimes science explains Divine miracles as results of nature conditions, and at other times, use new discoveries to nullify Scripture.
One way the believer can remain strong of faith is to conceive of God as being unimaginely greater in power than what people with less faith are willing to settle for. I can't see my God having to come to earth, scoop up dust, and mold a clay doll, and breathe life into it to create Adam. The "Big Bang" model of the origin of the universe requires a much larger God than does the God of those who insist on a young earth and seven 24-hour days in which to create it.
Some may say I don't believe the Bible. I do. Every word. God made man from the minerals in His universe. When you study dust, you find it is made of minerals.

All God has to do is command it to be done and BANG, even nature obeys so as not to quake at His rebuke.

NEVER LIMIT GOD. WHEN YOU DO, YOUR FAITH WEAKENS.

REMEMBER: OUR FINITE MINDS CANNOT CONCEIVE OF HIS POWER.

JOB 26:7-14

"We see but the outer fringe of His work. Who then can understand the THUNDER of His POWER?" Job 26:14

Job 26:7-14 is my favorite passage in the Bible. Thank you for reminding me that God is in control and my faith keeps me strong.
