GPP 65L Praying For Faith

“Dear Lord Jesus, I believe God sent you,
And that you are His one and only Son;
You died in my place, my life to renew;
God raised you from death; now, the world you run!
See, Lord, I have faith; let me heal the sick,
E’en as you did; or is my faith too small?
Maybe I could make a snake of a stick,
Or walk on water, as you, and not fall!
Two thousand years pass; does my faith grow less,
Or my reason for asking this pow’r wrong?
Prayers of righteous men still effect to bless;
Miracles still occur after so long!
Despite time’s passage and Satan’s world sway.
There are some with faith enough yet today!”
