:Let's Stop Fiddling While Washington Burns

Dear Readers: Since I fought 3+ years for our country in the South Pacific in WWII, I feel the country in danger from our federal government, and I have earned the right to warn you. In 1933 Adolf Hitler was legally appointed Chancellor of Germany, an office comparable to our President. He went beyond their constitution, throttled the pwople's rights to free speech, and in 2 years Germans were in a vise---a dictatorship. Monday (9/7) I forwarded the following email to some members of my family; in seconds I received a notice that it was BANNED and blocked. President Obama has appointed, without authorization, 40-odd "czars" to supervise various official agecies. One of these is with the FCC, which oversees the internet. The message that was BANNED was forwarded to me by my niece, Rebecca Nelms Currie, a state senator from Mississippi. It reported on an interview on ABC News Sunday (9/6) with President Obama; although completely factual, it carried some negative remarks about Mr. Obama---e.g., "THE $64,000 QUESTION WAS FINALLY ASKED!" Finally...the $64,000 question was asked...yesterday on ABC-TV (better known as "All Barack Channel" during the network special on "Health Care"...Obama was asked, "Mr. President, will you and your family give up your current health care program and join the new universal health care program that the rest of us will be on????....(Bet you already know the answer...



There was a stony silence as Obama ignored the question and chose not to answer...

In addition a number of senators were asked the same question, and their response was...'We will think about it." ...and they did. It was announced Monday on the news that the Kennedy(?) HealthCare bill was written into the new Healthcare Reform initiative ensuring that Congress will be 100% exempt. No, your great new health care plan that is good for you and I is not good enough for the President or Congress.

I added, "It looks like we elected the wrong President. Let's quit fiddling while Washington burns." It was BANNED.
