Ye apostate mankind! Thy fate is sealed!
Long hath God sought your repentance in vain;
You’re grape in His winepress, thy blood congealed,
Presser Christ’s snow-white robe blood-red with
stain!
Thy nations are weakened as ne’er before—
Giant tsunami, asteroid strike, earthquake—
Mountains leveled; unburied bodies of gore;
Vultures unnumbered on the dead feasts make!
Not all; those souls who in Jesus believe
Have God’s promises from wrath to be spared;
Safe in the arms of Jesus Christ they cleave,
Eternal life with Him in safety shared!
Most of mankind have a date with God’s wrath,
For spurning Him for their own selfish craft!
Promise Made: Isaiah 54:10—“ ‘Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love to you [spiritual Israel—believing Jews plus believing Gentiles] will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,’ says the Lord, who has compassion on you.” (NIV) [Brackets added]

“That if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord’, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9)
