Ancient Job knew of God’s redemption plan,
Yet no scripture or prophet had e’er been;
His faith in Jesus shows that untaught man
Has no excuse his Creator offend!
The starry skies declare God’s great glory;
Day after day the sun portrays His care*;
No one on earth fails to hear His story—
Nature pours forth speech, yet no words are there!
God launched the Cosmos from absolute void;
All that’s seen and unseen by men today—
Something from nothing—skeptics can’t avoid
A Supreme Being this world did display!
Is there one so dull that in nature sees
Chance its source and men its higher species?
*Psalm 19
Promise Made: Job 19:25—“I know that my Redeemer lives and in the end he will stand upon the earth.” (NIV) (Material for the poem taken from Psalm 19:1-6 and Romans 1:20)
“For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
“That if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord’, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9)
