The Triune God

Jesus Christ and the Father are the same;
With the indwelling Spirit, Three-in-One.
The Triune Being has "God" as its name,
No matter which does the work that is done!
It is a mystery, and there are many
Recorded for us in the Holy Book;
Its words He inspired; they're all uncanny;
If Truth you seek, there is the place to look!
Forty were led by Him the Book to write
That reveals His saga in all its parts;
Earth's wisest, who possess greatest insight
Have gleaned but a glimpse of His holy arts!
Can you conceive bestowing richer pelf*,
Than to make man in image of Himself?

*pelf = treasure

"Philip said, 'Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough.' Jesus answered: 'Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father?'" (John 14:8-9)

Jesus told us plainly that He and the Father are One Being.

"And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever---the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him, for he lives with you and will be in you."

In this scripture Jesus tells His apostles that after He returns to heaven He will have the Father to send His Holy Spirit, who will dwell in them always. He clearly says the rest of the world (that is, those people who have not accepted Jesus as Lord) will not accept or know Him; the Holy Spirit (God) does not indwell any non-Christian. This absolutely refutes the New Age, postmodernist assertion that "God lives inside every human being". The statement is a bald-faced lie, yet it is being spread throughout the world by Marianne Williamson of the Miracles show on radio sponsored by Oprah Winfrey; and many others.
